a couple of pictures to round up the day.

after watching the making of the movie,
i really really want to watch THE LEAP YEARS
according to tradition.
if you ask a guy out on 29th feb,
he cannot decline.
hahaha.
tt's quite funny right.
whatever it is,
i still want to watch.
i need such a movie to satisfy that hopeless romantic in me.

okay.
i agree that we do waste super a lot of water during wet games, with 60,000 over water bombs and water hoses spraying water all over during o1.
not including the water in the few pools that they made on both days.
seriously a lot of water wasted.
but then again, it's only happens about 2 times a year during o1 and o2.
and without the water, would there be so much fun during orientation?
and it's not called wet games for nothing.
if they only use one bucket of water for wet games then wont it be a bit silly?
and i dont think JJC is the only one who does all these.
haha.
i still think that thread which was posted is quite funny.

anyway, i forgot to post about the santana concert.
haha. it was really quite cool.
santana played for a whole 3 hrs on the guitar.
seeing him play for so long also made my fingers feel the pain
haha.
it was cool(:
went for dinner with uncle shinwan and blah blah ppl at central ytd.
it was nice to see him after 4-5 years.
he looks the same though.
and i think my extended family is full of hilarious people.
haha.
finally went to church today after a good 3 weeks
it was nice to see everyone again and things started to fall in place.
realised ive been MIA and it's about time i settle down in church after o2.
i need all the energy i can get for the week.
it's the last time we get to play before we're thrown in a sea of lecturers who scream into the mics for the entire hour and cheem lecture notes.
for those who have already started lectures in other JCs,
i feel sad for you..
because we are gnna be playing with water bombs and going yipaunderneh(doubt all of you know what's this) this week!!!!
hahaha.
ive been thinking of OG9 this weekend.

hello everyone!
it's time to do a massive post.
well do it day by day alright?
bear with me.
thurs and friday posts wld be more exciting (:
let's start with tuesday when we had prep camp.

TUESDAYYYY: we got our list of campers!
called them and most of them seemed to have e potential to be high.
julia and jialong who were in my OG were shocked to know tt they were in the same OG.
hahaha.
gazed at the stars at the field at night and slept in the north pole hall.
had to share sleeping bag with yi qian cuz she didnt bring.
haha.
but it was fun(:

WEDNESDAYYY: our campers came and things seemed good.
but by 12pm, everythg was reshuffled.
and the new OG 9 was formed!
20 guys and 8 girls.
hahaha. gender crisis.
went for YOUTH OLYMPIC GAMES rehearsal at e padang.
reached JJ at 8 plus,
DEBRIEF till 930.
was rather upset about e whole thing when e teachers started talking to us.
but i held things back.
dinner-ed and reached home at 1115pm -.-

THURSDAYYYYYY: was really sian-ed in the morning cuz i didnt have enough sleep and i didnt really got to know my campers well..
BUT BUT BUT.
surprisingly, when i greeted them in the morning,
my greetings were returned with very genuine smiles.
it was as though they had known me for a long time and it was just really nice.
and as you know,
i can be quite hard to get if i want to about stuff like this but it was just different
and im a very SMILE person.
so all tt made my day (:
anyway,
here comes the highlight.
results of YOUTH OLYMPIC GAMES bid at the padang!
it was really super fun.
jumped around for about 3 hrs and didnt get to sit.
but tt was fine.
helped to usher,
passed out cookies from secret recipe,
danced like there was no tmr,
played with confetti,
smiled for cameras,
danced mass dance
and got high with the ppl arnd me.
hahaha.
and SINGAPORE got the bid!
was really damn happy can.
hahaha.
jumped and screamed like mad.
wheeeee.
before the results were out,
we were all really scared and anxious.
really glad that we got the bid.
and it was then that i feel like a true blue Singaporean and was proud to be part of that moment(:
if you all didnt know,
JJC was asked to go down to rah-rah e ppl and the padang.
and we had a lot of feedback from the public and the media that we were good(:
hahaha.
JJ is like the mad sch.
hahaha.
oh and i was on the news.
think i was dancing with jeanle.
didnt see myself on tv though.
haha.
we saw redsports ppl again
and jialong asked the guy to take a photo of us.
if that's not being thick-skinned,
what's that?
hahahhaha.
reached home at 1115pm? :D

it has indeed been a hectic week.
mr choo asked us to blog seach for "JJC orientation"
i did and there were many good comments about JJ madness esp for new JAE students.
most of them were shocked by our enthu-ness.
guess our brain-wash sessions has been working.
haha.
just kidding.
we are really sincere in making our campers feel accepted and getting to know our culture.
sadly,
they havent seen it all yet.
next week,
when the water bombs come into play,
that'll be the ultimate!!!!
hahaha.
can't wait.

today was a tiring day.
esp from ytd.
principal treated all YOG ppl to lunch.
had ice cream and went back with zhang cheng.
hahaha.
he was supposed to go poly
but he put e wrong course number
and in the end,
ended up in JJ again.
really happy to see him.
but he's not taking same combi anymore.
haha.
cant disturb him during lectures.
training in sch tmr.
it's been long.
uncle shin wan transiting in singapore tmr!
havent seen him in 4 years.

i think i suck.
last year,
i took 11 mins to run.
and this year,
i took 15 mins!
which makes us 4 mins slower than last year's 18 min ++
hahha.
and e small boy in 4th place was 4 secs away.
hahahahahaa.

oh.
and we took 2 shirts instead of one cuz they came in 2 colours.
cheapskate.
haha.
real nice shirts though(:
today is a rare day cuz i actually reach home when the sun is still out.
and i actually skipped lessons!
haha.
but it was cuz i wasn't feeling very well so yea.
there is sch tmr but no lessons.
so what's the point of going man?

AFTER THE RACE!

day 2 of CNY

and we won 3RD!!!!

super shockeddddddd.
our timing was slower than last year's timing by about 2 mins.
and i thought i saw a guy overtake me from our category.
but he didnt win.
our nos. were from 2200-2214 and he was 2216.
so hmm..
hahaha.
whatever!
just cant believe we won.
was highly irritated/angry while running.
haha.
always like that.
i had very bad stomachache while running.
and i was running slower than usual also due to lack of rest the previous days.
but really thank God im still in one piece.

the free massage was painful but it was goooooooooood(:
now to blog about leaders camp on fri and saturday.
but honestly,
there was nothing much.
i enjoyed mass dance the most. hahaha.
wet games was just our play time.
anyhow play with soap and water bombs.
slept at 130 and woke up at 330am for fire drill for PT and stuff.
wow.
so fun eh?
hahaha.
tired.
planning to write notes for ppl leaving JJ
shall see how it goes.
oh. we're going down to the padang on wed(rehearsal) and thurs for announcing of host city for YOUTH OLYMPIC GAMES!!!

hello world.
it's been a long long time since i last updated.
have been really busy and tired in the past week.
just gnna have a quick update and then i'll be heading off to sch for leaders camp.
o2 prep camp next tues and and wed.
and o2 camp itself from tues to friday on the following week.
and i heard there's sports camp coming up which wld probably clash with pilot pen.
hmm..
as you can see,
im really quite busy.
speaking of badminton,
ive been pretty stressed during training.
the pressure's been increasing due to various reasons, which causes me a lot of unforced errors on court.
this has never really happened before so i hope it stops soon.
biathlon on sunday.
so go breaking barriers ***!
haha.
go figure out the last 3 letters.
im too embarrassed to type it.
hahahaha.
im still feeling tired even though i didnt go to sch today.

anyway,
on a lighter note,
today is JOYCE'S birthday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
hahaha.
but i cant meet her.

hello hello.
what a day.
anyway,
it has been changed.
no racket of our choice but rather,
we're gnna have TEAM RACKET!
it's the yonex muscle power 99 or sumtg like tt.
well..
haha.
better also la.
since i dont know much about other rackets.
we had a friendly with BLSS today.
hong bo and hong jun are WOWness.
i think hong bo is like super cute with his whole cartoon-ness.
even though i dont speak to him much but yea.
i like cartoon people(:
and coach is WOWness too.
he has taken top place in my list of WOW players putting JTES down on the list.
haha.
OKAY.
enough of badminton.
francis said sumtg tt on the bus that made quite a bit of sense
he said something like.
live your life as if you rely on your own strength,
but pray like you rely entirely on God.
live your life like God's going to come anytime,
but plan for your life live God's never going to come in another 100 years time.
francis really has his own set of thinking and believes tt are hard to understand sometimes but he makes things work out so i guess he'll make a good family2 head.

how's the monday going people?
haha.
i had a pretty dreadful one during the 1st half of the day.
didnt have much break time and had econs (dry and boring) lecture without aircon!!
and only 20 plus ppl attended physics lecture when there were supposed to be about 5-6 classes?
hahaha.
hilarous.
yea.
then went for a yummy lunch outside sch
and had training at 5pm.
principal's buying us each our dream racket of our choice!!
how cool is that?!
haha.
jialong and i were counting whether we wld be in the 15 tt wld get it.
and i guess we are!
im still thinking of what racket to get.
haha.
cool stuff man!
that just makes me want to perform better.
haha.
training today was fine
and i was pretty on form.

havent realy studied cuz im tired and feeling bitter about sumtg.

hello world.
it's been a hectic weekend
had 6 hrs of badminton on saturday.
3 in the morning at JJ
and 3 at night at gombak.
i think im mad.
haha.
but training at JJ made me miss out on the games trials in sch for OGLs

but i think the lives of jialong and i are revolving around badminton.
haha.
we talk about badminton everyday.
whether it's about the way we play,
or the twins,
or about the coach.
or about how clement doesnt know where to stand during doubles.
haha.
and now, we've come up with the term,
JJ's magical training.
it's like really cool how fast we've improved.
cuz there's really no choice but to push ourselves to perform better.
haha
gotta continue training hard to climb up the badminton ladder in JJ.
hahaha.
training on monday again and friendly with BLSS on tuesday.
there goes my chance of attending OGL meetings again -.-
anyway,
had guitar lesson today after a long long long long long time.
and it was really fun!
apart from the fact that i didnt cut my nails which didnt help in my playing.
haha.
learnt more new stuff and managed to catch up on things with aaron.
it was just a lot of lame stuff and a lot of laughing.
haha.
oh.
and CHINESE NEW YEAR IS COMING!!

i bet some arent.
im like getting super excited.
i dont know why.

i wnna watch a lot of movies this coming CNY holiday.
but movie ticket prices are madness man.
