hey everyone!

i survived CD-AYL!

it was a great experience.

how i wish i could go back to my SLO life,

couting strength,

eating supper bought by mr leow every night,

going crazy with the other SLOs and laughing as though we havent laughed before,

dancing fergielicious (spelling?) at public places,

eating till we almost burst at cafe cartel,

getting stuck at what to say to my campers in chinese,

endless horrible singing of mine (poor SLOs),

singing chinese songs :O first time in my life okay!,

tonnes of comic moments,

translating JJ cheers into chinese (this is super hilarous!!),

mr leow giving us time to take naps,

portioning food (they really eat lots),

rushing to put on formal attire,

getting 'advice' from mr leow,

watching mr leow and jo have their little 'competition',

tying lousy water bombs during wet games,

trying to sleep but ending up laughing at nothing at the conference room on top of the big meeting table

and hundreds more special things that i wont forget, ever.

sending the kids off was hard.

it didnt really hit me that they were leaving cuz it was 6 in the morning and we had to wake up at 4 to wake the other campers up.

seeing them cry as the bus drove off..

hmm..

will miss them.

they were really polite and nice,

always supporting us in whatever we did(:

must really thank God for bring me though this entire week.

i rmb regretting joining CD-AYL and getting really stressed over things and wanted to quit.

but things were fine and i had a lot of fun and made new friends.

though i have to catch up with my work,

i didnt regret going for this.

made me realise a lot of things.

like how impt my family and friends are.

also, i must thank mr leow for taking really good care of us.

even when it was 12 plus after debrief,

he would never fail to buy supper for us,

so much so that he was be so sleepy in the car and almost got into an accident.

he is really knowledgeable and i really respect him a lot.

he knows when to play like crazy and when to be serious about things.

it's been greay working with him and i believe all the lessons that he has taught us would stick with me.

there are tonnes of things i wnna say

but i dont have the time

please pray for me.

i need to do 2 weeks worth of work in a week.

plus tests.

starting to get stressed

hey world.
it had been a busy 3 days.
tmr marks the start of the CD-AYL camp.
just wnna thank all those ppl who have been there for me.
not in any order,

and for all those who have been silently there for me,
praying for me.
without your prayers,
i wouldnt have survived.
it's been hard.
and im trying to get things done.
but things are getting better.
im gnna enjoy myself for one week and then i'll start being a nerd.
study study study.
i miss prata and i owe buddy like 4 pratas?
haha.
i love my buddy.
i love my friends.
give me one week and i'll be back with my normal life.
anyway,

we watched rule no. 1.
super scary.
junwei told me it was a COMEDY.
YA RIGHT MAN.
i paid $10 for the ticket and only watched $5 worth of the movie cuz i was covering my face half the time.
all the ghosts and stuff.
gawd.
i rather watch horton.
haha.
then we had dinner at fish and co. at the glass house.
there were 2 guys playing the guitar.
they played all those love songs.
felt super sad.
haha.
i love my OG9.
like seriously.
every single one of them.
love you guys to bits.
now time to talk about today.
went to sch at 8am.
gawd.
on a satuday man.
haha.
to paint the CD-AYL banner.
wnna know how big it is?
it's about 3/4 the size of a netball court.
it's just NOT SMALL.
we took 2 hrs to paint it
and when they unrolled the banner,
the feeling was just great.
it looks great too.
the best part was that aiksong and i did the whole 2nd coating of the 'ASIAN' word.
and it rocks.
haha.
truely the sense of satisfaction on great.
this is the first time im painting a banner
and the first time im painting such a big banner.
haha.
i didnt make it in time for GP tuiton and only managed to make it for cell just on time.
we watched passion of christ.
hmm..
i didnt expect that we'll be watching that cuz i thought we wld be doing eph.
but yea.
it was a timely reminder,.
God reminded me that no matter how much tough times i go through,
it can never be compared to how he suffered on the cross and the price that he paid.
it was good.
scary too i guess.

needa go back to pack my bag which is exploding.
gosh.
7 days of clothes and i cant bring a luggage ):

what a rough afternoon this has been.
it hit me real hard.
but i guess it was necessary for me to continue on my way for the year.
ive been busy.
too busy.
so much so that ive been surrounded by too many people and too many tasks.
and compromising church was one of my biggest mistakes.
but God has spoken to me so i guess i'll try to bear with the circumstances.

i survived the fever which i didnt even have a themometer to measure.
wednesday was the worst day.
i didnt think i could make it.
i was just asking God to bring me home and let me sleep.
waited 1.5 hrs to see the doctor and left with a whole bunch of medicine.
oh wells.
it's a monday.
i cant wait for friday.
it's about time again.
ive got money but no lunch.

what a weekend.
ive been greatly blessed by the music ministry workshop in church on saturday and sunday.
God definitely spoke to me and it did help me understand the importance of the music ministry in every church.
but i guess there's still more to come until i start playing
dont really want to say much but i'll keep praying about it.
was deciding whether a not to go to church on sunday afternoon since i didnt attend service in the morning.
on top of that, it was raining heavily.
decided to start packing to go and suddenly, the rain stopped.
wow.
okay.
so i headed to the busstop and boarded the bus.
on the bus,
it started raining.
but when the bus was reaching church,
the rain stopped.
so basically,
it was a rainy day but i didnt get wet and didnt have to use the umbrella all thanks to God(:
it might seem coincidental,
but this happens often to me.
and i dont bring umbrellas out.
so yea.
God is good!
anyway,
will be MIA for the next few days again.
it's 12.21am and im still laming on msn.

heyhey.
im here again.
not that i have nothing to do.
but yea.
actually wanted to go and do my tutorials.
but reached home at 1045 after tuition so i abandoned the idea.
tuition rocks!
like this is the first time i actually enjoy going for tuiton every week.
it's not stressful at all and jocelyn understands us pretty well.
and we just talk about anythg under the sun.
today, we talked about A levels and how slack uni life is for an hr before starting which resulted in us ending late.
but the talk kinda stressed me out.
which reminds me that I HAVE TO STUDY HARD!
haha.
tuition is funnn(:
anyway,
rmb i used to have any friends names starting with J?
now, im starting to have quite a few friends with names starting with the letter..... D!
haha.
that was random.
oh.
and have you experienced someone waving to u even though you dont know the person?
that happened to me today.
was kinda in a daze in the library and this guy waved to be as though he knew me.
and i didnt even know why i waved back.
and for the past few days,
i waved to anton when i walked past him.
but actually,
he didnt even know/recognise me.
until today when i talked to him did he realise he did know me.
ytd, OG9 was actually waving to guangjie at the busstop and this other guy thought we were waving to him and waved back.
totally hilarious.
OG 9 is super funny.
3/4 of the time when im with them,
im laughing.
haha.
totally random post.
anyway,
for once i can sleep in tmr.
no training and
no need to do down to watch ppl train and feel bad.
haha.

hey everyone!
miss me?
it's time for my weekly update.
things has been pretty fine.
decided to join SLO with huaiching, francis and yao an joining me.
plus loads of shadows.
hmm..
hope it'll be a fun experience.
just that i wont be home for a week and i'll miss a week of lessons.
haha.
it's still mass lecture week and math is like killing me.
im not gnna talk bad about the lecturer but she just doesnt engage the students unlike some other lecturers.
and as derrick said,
she's like an mrt, moving too fast and not stopping to pick up the passengers.
yet,
we HAVE to understand it somehow cuz they dont really care whether you understand cuz they have to rush to finish the lecture in time.
wow.
haha.
other than that,
this marks the end of term one.
fast aint it?
next week,
i have 2 overlapping camps (yes, camps again)
and my pilot pen match with ivy.
with the 2 camps,
they'll be my 5th and 6th camp in JJ over the past 3 mths.
i dont even think i had more than 6 camps during my 4 years in sec sch. haha.
haha.
and for pilot pen,
i havent trained with ivy more than twice so errr...

i didnt know tt i missed francis's birthday on tuesday.

hey world.
it has been a long week.
the highlight would have to be orientation 2.
i actually must thank my Og22 OGLs because they were part of the reason im an OGL for O2.
and for xinjie for tt surprise honey lemon during camp(:
honestly, i never knew that i would enjoy myself as much as i did.
little did i know that my campers meant so much to me,
much less cry during camp.
before the camp started,
i was worried that my OGLs were not up to the task and that we were unable to share the burdens of our teachers.
but i guess things fell into place.
we all weren't the best.
but we did our best for them.
we started off with campers of different personalities and backgrounds.
and ended up as a big happy family.
i could tell that they changed into better people,
starting to think of others before themselves and making friends with each other.
during lunch after we broke camp,
everyone was just high.
we were greeting everyone we saw on our way to chinese garden.
yes. we went to chinese garden to play after camp.
haha.
despite the fatigue.
everyone was smiling.
and it was a really nice sight(:
i think i must talk about the fun times during O2 cuz it'll be stupid not to do so.
haha.
mass dance was rocking fun.
i love mass dance.
rmb my first mass dance with tk during O1.
it was pathetic.
i couldnt get my directions right.
but yea.
now mass dance is like super super fun.
but not so fun when francis pulls my hand until it can almost come off during all those turn parts.
hmm..
NOT fun.
hahahaha.
but we were super high during demo times and super tired and hungry when they were teaching the campers.
i think my fav song is still the oh my darling song.
haha.
wet games was fun too.
esp kinetic warfare.
the guys put so much soap on my hair until it was stinging pain.
hahaha.
but i dont care.
they can pour the whole bottle on me.
as long as they have fun.
haha.
i can blog all day about O2
but i dont have the time and the energy to do so.
just wnna thank all my OG9 OGLs for helping me out, franics, and f2 ppl for being part of O2.
last but not least,

gotta wear JJ uniform tmr!!!!

i will definitely miss it.
to be honest,
the uniform is rather ugly.

i'll most probably stop the whole leaders thing.
but i was asked to go for CDAYL.
and most ppl have advised me to not go for it.
it's a great opportunity cuz this would be a camp where all the young leaders from all over asia come to JJ for camp.
as much as O2 has been fulfilling, i shall reconsider cuz it'll never stop unless i stop(:
as you can tell,
ive been slacking a bit on the badminton side.
not that i want to but it's really no choice.
want to train ppl also dont want you to go.
haha.
