konichiwa!
haha. just felt like saying that the whole day but didnt have anyone to say it to so i shall say it on my blog!
hehe.
anyway, im supposed to blog about the miracle.
so basically, 3 groups went to feiyue centre for our Da Pao programme.
when we were there, there was this guy in-charge, N. dunno whether i shld put his name but yea. N is fine
the kids are all scared of him and he is able to silence the kids with one look.
haha. to put it bluntly, some of our youths call him the prison warden?
cuz yea. the place somewhat feels like a prison as what the kids can do there is rather limited.
like basically study only in the day care centre.
so yea. he is a bit big sized.
when i was there, being the observant person that i am,
i saw a buddhist bracelet on his wrist.
those with beads.
inside i was think. "oohh. he is a buddhist. wonder if we are able to share any bible context with the kids.. " then never really thought about it any further.
as shared by steven,
as N walked around to the different groups he was very touched by us being there and spending time with the kids.
he joined one of the groups and played and laughed.
according to one of his colleagues working at the centre,
she has never seen N so happy before until we were there.
haha. cool right?
N also told steven that he was very encouraged by the youths and had new found faith in christians.
apparently he was a backslided christian who lost his faith in God due to the church people.
steven later told us that after seeing the youths and everything, he removed this buddhist bracelet thing quietly and joined the other group in their games.
how cool is that? haha. if u dont think it's an amazing act of God then i dont know what is already. haha.
personally, i feel that as much as we all wanted to change the kids' lives and touch their hearts and teach them the word of God, it is even more important that we change the heart of N, such that he is able to treat them with more love and help to guide them towards the love of God.
another lady from the centre also told steven that she wanted her daughter to join our youth ministry.
indeed, these are the miracles that we saw yesterday.
but i believe there are greater miracles that are yet to come.
some of the kids,to our surprise have heard about Jesus which is a great start. so hope that God will continue to give them the opportunities to experience Him.
another thing i want to add which is another miracle in it's way was that aaron shared with everyone before the project that he sort of 'prophesized' that God told him a miracle would happen at feiyue.
feiyue being the centre with more restrictions on sharing the Word and Galistan being the centre that allows more christian sharings, one would assume that more could be done to share God's love at Galistan. however, amazing things do happen and indeed, miracles happened in feiyue.
so yea. aaron was right.
it's great to see how God used him to speak to people during the camp and im really encouraged.
had a good talk today.
life is good.
hope u all are blessed (: heehee
